About Ted Robertson
Ted Robertson is an accomplished wildlife biologist and naturalist. He has led dozens of whale watching and natural history boat trips for nonprofits, universities and cruise lines. He has taught over 200 field courses on birds, botany, wildlife, geology, marine biology, and insects throughout California and Alaska while employed for 25 years at UC Berkeley's Lawrence Hall of Science. He is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician with extensive wilderness rescue experience. His passion and enthusiasm for teaching others about nature is contagious. Ted is currently working as a scientist and lead biologist on several environmental projects throughout California conducting biological assessments, mapping wetlands, performing bird and floristic surveys, and protecting endangered amphibians. He has authored several books and papers.
